After completing his academic career at his alma-mater University of KwaZulu Natal ( Pietermaritzburg) Wayne completed his Hons and CTA while doing his articles.

Wayne served articles with BDO ( then known as BDO Spencer Steward in Pretoria. Having the privilege  of working with and learning from iconic legends of their time such as John MCKay, Roy Edge, Anthony  Fahy, PW Laesecke, Norman Anthony, DA Kurtzahn and Gerald Carson Anthony Spencer. This gave Wayne a very in-depth knowledge and understanding of business running and management having been brought up in the era of the “Shoe Box Audits and Accounting Write Up Jobs”.

As Director and Chief Operating Officer, Wayne oversees the day-to-day running of the practice. 

His  key areas of expertise are Assurance, Business Consulting and Donor Funded Audits (USAID, CDC, NIH and European Union). Wayne is a registered AGA(SA) with SAICA, General Tax Practitioner (SA) with SAIT as well as a Registered Tax Practitioner with South African Revenue Services. Wayne's are of specialization is taxation, consulting and donor funded audits. Wayne has conducted donor audits for international donors such as National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centre for Disease Control, US Federal Funding from U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the U.S Department of Education (USDoE). For the last 10 years of his time at PwC Wayne was the Finance Professional for the Global Fund LFA team for Kingdom of Lesotho. He was also involved in the audit of the Implementing Partners of the United Nations High Commission For Refugees for several years  He has conducted many programme audits for Deutsche Gesellschaff fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GiZ) GmbH. Wayne was for many years involved with financial audits of multiple projects commissioned by the European Commission as well as DIFID.
